We will live 7 days and 6 nights in the Samasati Retreat Center & Rainforest Sanctuary. The retreat center is up in the hills with an awe-inspiring view of the infinite blue ocean. You will hear an orchestra of the forest, birds, and monkeys while living in the rainforest! Activities in the area include options for nature lovers, yogis, and anyone looking to relax in an exotic jungle and beach environment. We will rise each day with a morning Sadhana, practice daily yoga, connect in group sharing, dance, play, eat and have free time to explore the land around us!
About Our Trip
We will live 7 days and 6 nights in the Samasati Retreat Center & Rainforest Sanctuary. The retreat center is up in the hills with an awe-inspiring view of the infinite blue ocean. 4:00-6:30am - Morning Sadhana (optional)
8:00-9:30am - Yummy organic + special caribbean breakfast
10:00-12:00pm - Morning transformative session 12:00-1:30pm 12:00-1:30pm - Yummy Lunch
1:30-5:00pm - Free Time
5:30-7:00pm - Evening session
7:00-8:30pm - Dinner

Travel Guidelines
Book Your Travel
The opening ceremony will begin on Sept1st at 5pm. You can arrive anytime on Sep 1st, get into your room, and receive lunch and dinner. We highly encourage people to fly into SJO one day early (Aug 31st) to avoid any travel delays but we have provided 2 options below.
Fly to SJO on August 31st and stay in San José that night. On September 1st you can take a shuttle ($55/person) or a private taxi ($240) to Samasati. It is a 4-6 hour scenic drive through a national park with a stop for local food along the way.
Fly into SJO by Sept 1st at 10am. Then take a small plane ($100) from SJO to Limón (30 mins) and then a shuttle ride (45 mins) to the retreat center ($50).
For travel home…
We also highly suggest booking your flight home for Sept 8th. So, leaving Samasati the night of Sept 7th and staying the night in San José. This way you will be able to attend the closing ceremony the morning of Sept 7th.
Samasati staff can answer questions and help you book transportation within Costa Rica.
Covid Details
We will be following the guidelines for safety and the retreat center will take all the steps to make sure everyone is safe.
Guest Cancellation Policy
If you can~cel your trip, we do not offer refunds for any reason.
If we must cancel a booked retreat date for any reason, you may transfer your full retreat payment to another retreat, or you may request a full refund of your payment.
We are not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled retreat, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.
